This steel sculpture by Armando Alvarez celebrates the different cultures that have mixed in the Rio Grande Valley. The boulder is said to weigh 80 tons and bear an inscription in the flat wall, the first line of which was defaced in 2006, but is still visible on the top of the hill. The boulder bears a stone decal stone with the inscription "Lunas New Mexico," which has been revised.
